Score Meaning
0 Missing or not supported
1 Partial — workaround required
2 Supported but with limitations
3 Strong, proven, and well-documented

2. Apps & Devices

What devices are supported today — not "on the roadmap"?

What to look for: iOS, Android, web, Tizen, webOS, Roku, Fire TV, Apple TV, Android TV — live vs roadmap. Get the certified app list in writing.

3. CMS & Workflows

Can your team manage content without developer support?

What to look for: series/season metadata, roles and permissions, bulk operations, content scheduling, publish workflows

4. Monetization

Does the platform natively support your revenue model?

What to look for: SVOD, AVOD, TVOD, hybrid support. Are these native or bolt-ons? What are the add-on costs?

5. Integrations

What does the platform connect to out of the box?

What to look for: payment gateways, analytics platforms, ad tech (SSAI/CSAI), CRM/email, SSO, DRM vendors

6. Ops & SLA

What happens when something breaks?

What to look for: SLA uptime guarantee, support tier and response times, incident escalation process, status page

7. TCO Clarity

What does the platform really cost in year 1 and year 2?

What to look for: platform fee, app build and maintenance, bandwidth costs, add-on pricing, support tier costs — get a year-2 scenario in writing
